Decker Automation Site Services and Test Area

One thing I feel strongly about in the field of Web Design is that a site should be logically organized, so that it's easy and natural to find stuff. And, of course, I immediately violate that concept by having an entire section of my own site titled "Random WebStuff".

What we have here is the accumulation of two related phenomenon over time:

1. My own tendency to ask "Gosh, wouldn't it be neat if.....?", and
2. Customers who ask "Derek, do you know how to....?"

In either case, the answer is usually "Sure, I can do that", followed by the sotto voce "How the Hell do I do that!!?". And it ends up here. So far we have:

• News Wire Headlines, updated regularly from all over.
• Nexrad Weather Radar Sources
• A Collection of Interfaces To Search Engines, so you can search without the clutter.
• A simple, no-clutter interface to Pocket MapBlast Maps and Directions.
• A Java Applet that will connect you to the local IRC Server
• The Decker Automation Web Conference server , when it's enabled.
• The Decker Automation Whois Domain Name Lookup Service - powered by BW Whois.
• Ever wonder what webserver was running at a particular URL? TheDecker Automation Webserver Type Lookup page can help.
• Everybody has to have a WebCam! I have two WebCam Pages (and two webcams, but that's a different story), one using a Java Applet, and a Frames-based version. At least, when I have the cam turned on they're there.
