Five-week sessions held on Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Session I - Crazy Contraptions
Build DaVinci machines and the wildest working contraptions.
Nov. 8, 15 & 29; Dec. 6 & 13
Session II - Architecture
Learn architecture using modeling and engineering techniques. Design and build a tall tower strong enough to withstand hurricane force winds! Build an earthquake proof structure and a building from antiquity.
Jan. 10, 17, 24 & 31; Feb. 7
Session III - Racing Machines
Create all kinds of cars, bots, e-cars, and solar-powered cars!
Feb. 21, 28; Mar. 7, 14, & 21
Session IV - LEGO Robotics
Learn the basics of mechanical engineering to design a variety of working robots and their accessories.
Apr. 11, 18 & 25; May 2 & 9
Crime Scene Investigation
Five-week sessions held on Mondays from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Participants gather clues and information then use science labs to process the data to solve a mystery designed by a team of scientists. Students learn forensic science techniques like fingerprinting, handwriting analysis, chromatography, and DNA science to identify objects from the crime scene.

Fast Track Math Tutoring
Drake Science Center offers a program for students that need additional help with basic math skills. We offer a variety of nationally recognized programs that identify each child’s learning style. Students use games, activities, and other math manipulatives to fit individual needs. Success in math promotes a child’s problem solving abilities as well as greater self-confidence in performing basic math skills. Let us help make math easy and fun for your child.
Five-week sessions meet twice a week from 4:00--5:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Session I - October 3 - November 2
Session ll - November 14 - December 21 (off Thanksgiving week)
Session lll - January 16 - February 15
Session lV - February 27 - March 29
Session V - April 17 - May 17
Reading Tutoring
This excellent reading program equips students with the skills to learn to read well, easily and quickly, achieve at a remarkable rate - all in five short weeks! Give your child the additional reading skills they need to excel.

• Low–level readers learn to read high-level books with ease
5 week Sessions - Monday - Thursday, 4:00-5:00 pm. Student must attend a minimum of 2 sessions each week.
Session I - October 2 - November 2
Session II - November 13 –December 21 (off Thanksgiving week)
Session III - January 16 - February 15
Session IV - February 26 - March 29
Session V - April 16 - May 17
Interested students could combine both our Reading and Math programs in any 5-week session. Reasonable rates so all families can participate.
