2008 Summer Camp Programs
LEGO Camps
- Create and construct models of towers, buildings, machines of all kinds that really work.
- Apply math and science to real world situations.
- Develop critical thinking and problem solving.
- Build self-esteem.
An end of the week exhibition of each child or team's work, as well as their picture, appearing on our website, will be fun for all.
Crazy Action Contraption
Participants will build DaVinci machines and the wildest working contraptions to compete in coliseum type games. From catapults to football launchers, siege machines, ping pong poppers, and spaghetti choppers to racing machines. Defend the fortress and compete in your own warrior games.
Grade Level: Gr. 3-5

Robotics I Camp
This program provides the basics of mechanical engineering to design a variety of working robots and their accessories. Teams will build working models, and will experiment with flying monkeys, mars rovers, and sumo wrestler competitions.
Grade Levels: Grade 4 - 8
Date & Time: June 23 - 27 ; 9 am- noon.
Length: 5 days
Cost: $195/week

Robotics II Camp
(Camper must have completed Robotics I).
This week-long program gives campers the opportunity to build two different robots using RCX chip technology. Students will learn to program during this camp.
Grade Levels: Grade 4 and up
Date & Time: July 14 - 18; 9:00am - noon

Robotics III Camp
(Camper must have completed Robotics II).
Campers expand their programming skills using RCX chip technology. Students design their own unigue robots and program for a multi-obstacle course with various "tricks".
Grade Levels: Grade 4 and up
Date & Time: July 14 - 18; 9:00am - noon
Cost: $195/week
Architecture Camp
Enjoy learning the principles of architecture using modeling and engineering techniques. Design and build a tall tower strong enough to hold a dictionary! Build an earthquake proof structure and a building from antiquity.
Grade Levels: Grade 3 and up
Date & Time: August 4 - 8; 9 am- noon.
Cost: $195/week

Enroll your child in our math skill development program which uses strategies that are fun and engaging for the child to apply and learn new basic math skills. Our program is filled with mysterious magic tricks, exciting games, puzzles, and riddles. On the last day of camp there will be a magic show for the families of our campers starring our Math maniacs. This multi-week camp is for kids with a range of different needs. Campers will be organized by age and skill level for their optimal learning experiences.
Grade Levels: 1 and up
Date & Time: June 9 - August 8; 9:00am - noon (Closed week of June 30-July 4)
Scheduled for one hour each day. Tuesdays & Thursdays; 9 -10 am, 10 -11 am, 11 am -noon. Pick your weeks and time slot
Cost: $30/week ; 4 week minimum
