Pre-School
Let's Look Up
Designed for children ages 3-6, this program will introduce your students to both the day and nighttime sky. Captain Orbit, a four foot wizard puppet, guides the children through this hands-on science experience.
Kindergarten
Meet The Planetarium
Treat your pre-school or Kindergarten students to a science lesson they will never forget. Children interact with the planetarium's star machine which teaches them about the Sun, planets, stars and the moon. Students will also get a glimpse of the special things astronauts can do inside the Space Shuttle.
Grade 1
Day and Night
First grade students are introduced to the concepts of day and night, and how rotation causes this effect on earth. The sun, the seasonal constellations, and the moon are introduced. The relationship between the motion of the earth and the sun is presented as a relative-position problem to the students. Careers in science are also explored.

Earth, Sun, Moon, and Stars
Discover the difference between a star and a planet. Students learn how stars are different from each other and why our Sun appears to be so bright. The basic five constellations are also introduced to the children during the course of the program.

Santa's Starry Night
Your first grade students will enjoy their journey, with Santa and his friends, through the stars and planets seen during the Christmas season. Students will understand and be able to identify 5 winter sky constellations. Your students may even see an elf or two as you visit the planetarium during this special holiday show.
Larry Cat In Space
A playful and imaginative presentation about an inquisitive cat who takes a trip to the Moon to be with his human family friend, Diana, a moon geologist. Once on the moon, Larry learns about life in the Moon's environment. The program is filled with the wonder and amusement of a child as Larry investigates the marvels of our natural satellite.
The Secret of the Cardboard Rocket
This exciting program takes your young students on a journey to explore the Sun and planets of our solar system. Two adventurous youngsters discover a cardboard box that would make an ideal rocket ship. Blasting off into space, their adventure begins. To discover the secret of the cardboard rocket's power, come and enjoy the show!
