If “location, location, location” is the first tenant of real estate, then the second prime directive should be labeled “investors, investing, investment.” While Rosemary and I were reviewing golf courses, dinner theaters, and the PGA Show, we stayed in affordable, convenient and luxurious housing managed by the Coldwell Banker management company, a subsidiary of Orlando Holiday Homes, members of RCI Holiday Network. Kelly Fowler, their Director of Sales and Marketing, was not only a very gracious host, but her expertise was both eye opening and informative. All of their properties are privately owned by people from all over the world, who have capitalized on the investment opportunities with top notch housing, offering generous living areas that can accommodate groups of holiday travelers, as well as individual couples. The choices are unlimited, and experienced people like Kelly will match the appropriate property to any specific need. I prefer to have my own garage, kitchen, indoor pool and privacy, to an overpriced, crowded motel or hotel. More importantly, Kelly and her associates can help with information and resources to plan your entire vacation itinerary from golf to dinner theaters, Disney World activities, etc. with your specific pocketbook in mind. Staff is on a 24-hour service to insure peace of mind if unexpected events happen. Options for travel and lodging are changing the mindset of America. We may consider owning a piece of the rock, because investment is a gift that will keep on giving. Sweat equity is fleeting, but investment equity is forever.
