The national jamboree is Scouting's grandest tradition--a gathering of Scouts and leaders from across the nation (as well as contingents of Scouts from overseas). A jamboree is the quintessence of the Scouting movement. Program features will reflect the skills of Scouting, the nation's heritage, physical fitness, conservation, and the spirit of brotherhood. During this brief period when the Scouts gather, everything that Scouts do--and everything that Scouting is--happens all in one place.

Youth and Leaders of Troop 30

Troop 30 visited the USAF Museum in Dayton in March of 2004 and last attended the Dayton in July of 2003.

We are planning a trip for the weekend of July 16 & 17 that will combine both of these activities.

The Troop will depart Louisville on Saturday morning - tour the USAF Museum and camp at Wright-Patterson that evening.

We will break camp early Sunday morning for Dayton International Airport and the Dayton Airshow

The Troop will return to Louisville Sunday evening.

Cost for this trip is $ 40.00 per Scout and $ 48.00 for all others.

Friends and family are invited to join us.
