Sure is nice to see a site dedicated to tastings and discussions of wines in terms of both quality and value. Keep up the good work.

After working for E&J in 1971-1972, I completed my formal education in San Jose and US Navy. I have travelled world-wide (GE, USNR, Rockwell) and have become infatuated with Piemonte Wines, esp. Nebiolo's (all), Dolcettos and Barbieras. I always bring s ome back to the states with me; brought back 14 bottles last week (including a rare 1990 Gaja Barberesco). I enjoy paring good wine with good food. Hope to have hear from others who have turned their focus and interest to Northern Itallian RED wines.

I am just getting started with the storing of wine so your site will have good information for a novice like myself. I have in fact just finished building my wine celler except for the racking. If anyone has suggestions for me I would appreciate anything to keep me from making mistakes. The celler is 6ft. x 17ft. totally insulated, I expect to be able to store about 2,500 bottels as we can afford.

Site looks interesting. We live in the Napa Valley and are new to the internet. Our wine buying and drinking consists of wines from all over the world. More later when we attain proficiency in the use of the web.

Robin, I've enjoyed your materials for years. As President of the exclusive importer of several superb brands (at least one of which dazzled people on the Friday event during Mo'Cool) I look forward to having your group taste the whole range of these labels. I am arranging for Joel Goldberg's visit in South Africa and would love for you to visit there yourself someday. Thanks again for educating and informing America abour wines in a non-threatening way. Regards, Jan

Hi Everyone! Great page... btw does anyone know of a page that describes the winemaking process? (i.e. everything from crushing to fermentation to bottling) Trying to do some research, have found lots of info about home-vinting not so much on large scal e production. Please let me know if you do. May you have only fantastic olfactory & organoleptic experiences w/ wine!
