ADULT SPONSOR REGISTRATION OPTIONS
Adult support is crucial for young people to use their new-found skills back at their parish or school. For this reason adult sponsors of participating youth MUST choose one of the three following options, so as to bridge the TCL experience with life back at home. Sorry, but if none of these options is possible, then we cannot accept TCL registrations for youth. Please note that this year’s program begins after dinner on Thursday, July 31 and concludes at 4:30pm on Sunday, August 3.
 

Adult Sponsor Option #1 – Attend TCL With Your Youth
We have a limited number of spaces available on TCL for adults who would like to experience TCL along with their young people. (We can accept no more than a total of six; and no more than two per parish or parish cluster.) This is the best way to ensure that the great things that happen at TCL carry on back at home. Complete the registration form from the Mail-in Registration page and submit it with your youth registration(s) and deposit, or just register online. Since we’ll be asking these adults to assist with supervision, the fee is reduced to $165. Sponsoring parishes and schools are once again encouraged to assist with costs.
 

Adult Sponsor Option #2 – For Adult Sponsors Who Haven’t Attended TCL

If Option #1 isn’t possible, and if the adult sponsors haven’t attended TCL in the past, at least one adult (and no more than three) from each sponsoring parish or institution must join TCL on Sunday, August 3, from 10:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to:

  • Participate in the final day of TCL which focuses on applying learning back at home.

  • Attend a special adult orientation/training session.

  • Receive a TCL 2008 manual, packed with lots of leadership materials and practical activities (revised each year).

  • Work directly with your youth in making practical plans.

  • Share a tasty lunch.

  • Join us in our closing Mass as we honor and commission the participants.

The cost of this option is $25 (for lunch and a TCL binder).
 

Adult Sponsor Option #3 – For Adult Sponsors Who Have Attended TCL
Adult sponsors who have either attended the entire TCL program or who have in the past come for the final day of the program may skip the morning orientation session and join us for lunch at noon, participate in the early afternoon parish planning segment and celebrate our closing Eucharistic liturgy with us. The cost of this option is also $25 (for lunch and a TCL binder).
