Presenter: Deacon Steve Durkee 

     Deacon Steven Durkee is a seasoned veteran whose presentations draw upon years of teaching and counseling young people. As a religion teacher and counselor at Covington Catholic High School, Steve guided the development of their crisis response plan. Little did he guess how soon it would be needed, and how soon he would be called upon to help his school grieve the tragic death of a student. From that experience he was able to refine their plan, and soon after began to serve as a resource for other schools in the Greater Cincinnati area as they dealt with similar traumatic events.
      Deacon Steve is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor specializing in adolescent counseling, alcohol and substance abuse, family & grief counseling, and educational & career counseling. He also serves proudly as a deacon at Mother of God Parish in the Covington, KY diocese.
