 We
urge you to visit the USCCB WYD 2008 website at
www.wydusa.org, and click on the
information link for U.S. groups. There you will find a number of
catechetical resources to assist your group with spiritual preparation for
the trip, right online. You can already sign up for a monthly e-newsletter
to help you prepare for the trip. Just like in 2005, reflection documents
for use with individuals and groups are expected to be published in time
for Advent 2007 and Lent 2008. A WYD journal should also be published soon
which will include weekly readings from Scripture, reflection questions, and stories
about young saints. You may even order WYD USA buttons to wear in
solidarity or trade with pilgrims from other nations. To order any of
these items, call toll-free (866) 574-4763.
The USCCB has also established an electronic mailing list to pass along
important information about World Youth Day 2008 to those preparing for
this pilgrimage. Between now and July, 2008, you can receive periodic
email updates with registration information and other WYD details for U.S.
